You must have been familiarized with Rajma, or the kidney beans. A highly nutritious protein that helps with digestion and reduce the risk of heart diseases. Rajma Tikkis are best eaten with a spicy and tangy pudina chutney and some nice garam chai for this monsoon. Ingredients
- 1/2 Sweet Potato, boiled
- 1 cup Rajma, boiled
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Chilli Paste
- 1 tbsp Coriander Leaves, chopped
- 1 tsp Chaat Masala
- 2 tsp Chilli Powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 cup Semolina
- 2 tbsp Oil
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the boiled sweet potatoes and kidney beans.
- Add in the finely chopped onions, minced ginger and garlic, chopped chilies, and coriander leaves.
- Combine along with chilli powder, salt, and chaat masala in a mixing bowl and crush the entire mixture.
- Once finished, shape this mixture into medium-sized patties. Set aside for 15 minutes after coating the patties evenly in semolina.
- After an hour, heat the oil in a deep fry pan for frying the cutlets. Drop the cutlets into the pan and cook on both sides until golden brown.
- Serve this healthy snack hot.
