Ciara Dances on Power Lines and Cars in Nostalgic “Jump” Music Video

On July 8, Ciara released her new single “Jump,” alongside an electrifying music video with an impressive range of visuals, choreography, and outfits. The dance track, which is her first in two years, brought us back to old-school, early 2000s Ciara à la “Goodies” and “1, 2 Step.”

Featuring hip-hop group Coast Contra, the video begins with Ciara as a cheerleader, dancing among Winston-Salem State University’s famous Powerhouse squad. The energy only gets better from there — the singer is seen dancing in too many scenes to count, including power lines, roofs, moving trains, and the hood of a car in 14 different looks. From a cheer uniform and various swimsuits to a Janet Jackson-inspired ensemble, Ciara truly outdid herself. On July 14, the singer shared a behind-the-scenes clip from the video on Instagram, writing, “You betta Stomp and Shake baby! #JUMP.”
